Just as the three legged stool is the most stable of platforms, so is the 3 Rail monorail. The two outside rails are load bearing only where as the center rail is chain driven and transports carriers thru the system. Loads remain parallel with the floor through changes of elevation allowing the product racks to remain fixed and on closer centers.
